The UNAFIC – the National Union of French Chemical Engineering Associations

Created in 1910, the UNAFIC (National Union of French Chemical Engineering Associations) brings together the chemical engineering associations. Its goal is to represent these associations in dealings with the national institutions (public authorities, scientific Societies, Relief Society and the Gay-Lussac Federation) and international institutions (European Union, and foreign unions of chemical engineers). Its head-quarters are in Paris in the “Maison de la Chimie”. It periodically edits a document synthesizing the evolution of the chemical engineer population and a brochure destined for the classes préparatoires of schools offering careers in chemical engineering as well as Schools of Chemistry.
